RECUPERATIVE POWER SYSTEM = SAVING FUEL SYSTEM.
There are presented the basis of realization the hybrid hydraulic drive system for city cars (named recuperative drive), the cars construction rules, results of the traction computer calculations and road reserches of VW Polo car equiped with this drive system compared to identical VW Polo car equiped with original drive system.
HYBRID COMBUSTION-HYDRAULIC SYSTEM IS MORE EFFICIENT FOR THE CAR'S POWER TRANSMISSION THAN HYBRID COMBUSTION-ELECTRIC SYSTEM.
There is presented the comparaison between the hybrid hydraulic - combustion drive system in city cars (recuperative drive) and the realized hybrid combustion - electric systems in city buses. Main foults of combustion - electric systems related to the recuperative drive are shown in the analysis.
WHY HYDRAULIC HYBRID DRIVE - RECUPERATIVE DRIVE - IS OPTIMAL.
There are presented the outline of projects by dr Leon M. Kołodziejczyk cocerned recuperative drive with the indications the reasons of abandon the hybrid combustion - electric drive conception and undertaking and realization in the preprototype recuperative combustion - hydraulic drive system 25 years after primary conception state. There are shown the pictures of the recuperative drive in city bus and city car (mainly in taxi car).
DESCRIPTION OF THE FILM MADE DURING ROAD TESTS ON 13.06.2006 OF THE RECUPERATIVE SYSTEM DRIVEN CAR.
The film shows the recuperative system driven car (red) and an original vehicle - VW Polo 1.4 (blue). The recuperative system equipped car was driven by PhD Leon Maria Kolodziejczyk and the original vehicle was driven by a professional driver from Szewczyk car dealer. Both cars drive and stop every 200-300 meters in order to imitate city driving conditions (see map in "RECUPERATIVE POWER TRANSMISSION SYSTEM = SAVING FUEL SYSTEM").
The noise made by the recuperative system driven car is not dependant on the driver, it is caused by the automatic stearing system.
NOTE: The loudness of the engine of the recuperative system in this test is due to the fact that the exhaust system of the test car was malfunctioning.
